Fritz Hortig works intuitively, rarely beginning with sketches. Vivid colour, strong contrasts and a direct connection between feeling and making shape his approach.
His practice extends across painting, analogue collage, furniture, installations and hand-painted clothing. His Vienna solo exhibitions include Die gängigen Werke (2022) and Der Sprache die Blumen (2024).
